Juvia’s Place Mini Masquerade Palette Review + Swatches

Hello everyone!

Recently I bought myself the Masquerade Palette by Juvia’s Place. I ended up getting the mini version because the regular size was out of stock. However, the mini version is still quite a decent size! (14.5cm x 14.5cm). I purchased this on sale at $19.99 USD and then got an extra $2 off by using the discount code from Youtuber Nikkie Tutorials. Postage was $22.75 to have it shipped to Australia which totalled to $40.74 USD and $55.53 AUD.

In this post, I’ll give you my opinion on what I thought about the palette, the service and I’ll swatch the eyeshadows for you as well.

Here’s what the palette looks like:

Personally, I love the packaging. I find it very creative and colourful. The colours used contrast really well and I love the design on the front as well.

The variety of colours in this eyeshadow palette are fantastic! I love how there’s two rows of bright, vibrant colours and two rows of golden, brown nudes. There’s also a range of shimmers and matte eyeshadows. There are 11 shimmers and 5 mattes.

As you can see from these swatches, the eyeshadows are super pigmented and very vibrant! My personal favourite shades are Zola, Burkina, Dahia and Casablanca. However, the colour ‘Bori’¬†in comparison to the other eyeshadows was a lot less pigmented and harder to apply. I also thought the shade ‘Cairo’ was going to be a lot more shimmery than how it actually swatched. But I still love it and I think it’s a great shade.

When I bought the palette I went onto Youtube and watched a few videos about Juvia’s Place. It was interesting to see that people were complaining about the service. Personally, I’m not sure as to why because my service was great. The site was easy to use, I was emailed shortly with a receipt after my purchase. I was again emailed when my parcel had been shipped. The eyeshadow palette was also packaged nicely in bubbly wrap and plenty of other protection.

Overall, I am glad I made this purchase. I love the colours in this palette and the quality of the eyeshadows. I also like how Juvia’s Place have supplied a range of shimmers and mattes as well. I think for the price I paid for the palette (not including shipping) is great value and it is definitely on my recommend list!
